Going Macro

I'm totally loving my macro lens.

I'm also totally still learning how to use it.

I'm going to have to take a photography class.

There are just some things I can't wrap my head around.

These are petunias that I just planted in my patio pots.

I'm going for an oasis feel on my patio.

Peas...

They are on their second try after being nibbled all the way down by the snacking ground hog that lives under the shed.

We left for Colorado in late April after I had already planted the first bunch of peas and snow peas.  I was SO excited to come home to see something growing in my garden and there was NOTHING!

But I showed him.

Green Beans in forefront.

Snow peas.

Asian cucumber

I'm uh...going to have a lot of cukes if all my plants grow well.

My younger two and planning to sell the excess at the end of the driveway.

Organic Mesclun lettuce.

It's about ready to harvest!

I totally cheated and bought this at the grocery store and popped it in the ground.

But it's huge and ready.  My seed basil are still teeny tiny!

and Carrots!

I started carrots indoors in a large pot back in April and they are doing well.

I planted purple and orange organic carrots in the garden so we will see how well they do.  I've never harvested carrots before.

I'm excited to eat everything.

Is it lunchtime yet?
