Merry Christmas!

 Okay. Notice anything different?

Hint:
These pictures were not taken with an IPhone camera.

Yes. Yes. YES! I got a new camera.  My beloved bought me one for the Christmas!
(a fabulous Sony Alpha A390 DSLR)

I'm like a kid again.

I'm also typing this while my hubby is playing with my (ahem) camera and he is taking pictures of me.

I think I will add a Photography section to my blog just to feature my (and his) favorite photos.

We had a lovely brunch this morning before we went to church.

Complete with white candles, topiaries, fruit and...

Organic cinnamon buns.

From scratch.

See here for recipe.

My hubby made me these.

Yes. Made.

They are shells from our last Cape Cod trip and he fashioned them into earrings, a necklace, and a bracelet for me and his mom.

So special.

I just love my guy.

(He just took a picture of me wearing the earrings and necklace. Smile!)

New toys. Guns.

Just a few Zhu Zhu pets.

(Hey, I hit the jackpot at Toys R'Us at 90% off)

Happy almost 9 year old boy.

My handsome husband.

(Oooh. Just loving the bokeh)

Taken with my Macro lens from far far away.

My non-ornament in the tree.  A wicker ball from Ikea left over from client gifts.

New scarf knitted by Oma.

One of my favorite ornaments.

And truly heavenly poached organic pears.

Post to follow. Promise.

It was a beautiful day filled with family, love, food, worship, and relaxation.

A taste of Heaven.

Have a blessed Holiday Season!
