Oma's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Whole grain goodness

I don't bother making my own cookie dough anymore.

There's just something about Oma's touch.

Oma means Grandma in Dutch.

Just in case ya didn't know.

I'm so informative, I know.

These cookies are phenomenal.

There are no other words to describe them.

They are made with organic spelt flour and organic sugars.

I don't even feel guilty snitching one of these.

Or two.

Oma's Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 1/4 cups flour (spelt)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 - 12 ounce package chocolate chips

Mix it all up and plop it on some cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 8-10 minutes till browned.
Cool 5 minutes and remove from baking sheet.
Try not to eat them all.

Tips for healthier substitutions: Use whole grain flour, organic sugars, organic vanilla, free range or organic eggs, and organic butter.

They rock!
