One of our go to meals during our school day is Mac & Cheese; homemade. No boxes for us anymore since we stopped eating wheat.
This is officially Gluten Free.
We use brown rice pasta, a good sharp cheddar cheese, organic milk and butter.
Ingredients I feel good about feeding my kids.
Start with melting a bit of butter.
Add the milk, garlic powder, paprika, and pepper.
Stir on low heat.
Grate the cheese
Add slowly add a handful at a time till melted and the consistency that you like.
Ours turned out nice and gooey.
Add some veggies to round off your lunch.
2 Tablespoons butter
1 cup milk
seasonings to taste
1+ cup shredded cheese
Heat and enjoy!
