"But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed." ~Isaiah 53:5
We are having a dramatic reading, singing, and time of reflection at our Good Friday service this evening. This is the first Good Friday Service in our new church building and we invited over 200 people that work or live near our church building. Please pray that we will have an amazing turnout so we can point others to Christ. I'm blessed to be able to participate in this service as part of the singing. Hubby and I will be doing a duet. I chickened out of the solo. I admit it.
I know that I don't often write about my faith on here. My faith is a huge part of me and our family. Sometimes I struggle with how to express it on a page when I'm cooking. I like to be lighthearted on my blog.
I like to think that my food is using the gifts God has given me, like an art. It's presentation is the very expression of God's creation. Like a sunset.
I love the colors that He gives us in nature.
He is Good.
Let this day and weekend show you His incredible love for you as a sinner and may you see His AMAZING grace.
May you have a blessed day.
